Who
would not know Wissam Sabbagh and his comic wits? Well...all his viewers
would get their fair share of laughter as this great actor comedian throws his
lines with a million-laughs punch.
Anyway, for those who do not
know Wissam yet, he is a Lebanese actor,
a theater performer, director, and a TV presenter. His great acting and directing skills was
more honed to perfection when he took an acting course (Higher Education) for
which he holds a rewarding diploma after. He also took a degree course in business
at the University of Beirut Arab.
Wissam
Sabbagh took his first plunge in the
entertainment scene with one of the well-loved comedy master Ibrahim Merashli.
Eventually, he was offered a good role in CBM, a comedy show aired on MBC
wayback 2003. This program has somehow led Wissam to fame labeling him as
Lebanese comedian in and around the Arab countries.
Just
a couple of years ago, he participated
in the popular show OTV (Orange Television) and presented a variety of
game shows at the time of Ramadan. And on the following year 2010-2011, Wissam
hosted a TV show entitled Khedni ma3ak (in English: Take Me W#ith You). This is
a semi-reality show on television wherein he had to be with a public figure for
the entire day to explore their world.

Aside
from being a good actor, an effective comedian. and vibrant host, he also penetrated the world of theater - not just a performer on
stage but also as a director. In 2009, he had his first directorial job for a
theater play entitled ‘Mahlouli’. This piece is written by a popular Lebanese TV actress Claudia Marchalian who is
also a theater performer. However, prior to the show ‘Mahlouli’, Wissam has
already took roles in several theater plays since 1996 wherein his first
theater appearance is Ibrahim Merashli’s ‘Hmar Sediss’ under the direction of
Zouhdab Yaakobian. Four years after, he appeared in the play ‘Nader mesh edir’
by Marwan Najjar and directed by B. Geara. While he was busy doing TV shows, he
still find time to perform theater plays such as ‘Haribeh ya Awedim’ in 2002
and Kazzeb Kbir and in 2006.
